Welcome to the 'Independence 4 Amanda' website! I am so glad you stopped by. This is where I am going to be keeping everyone up to date on my road to independence!!

I am a 24 year old who is finally getting the opportunity to get behind the wheel and gain some independence of my own. This is something that people take forgranted everyday... your independence. Unfortunately my independence has a price tag that I can not afford. I have a very limited income and making $300+ car payments and insurance payments for a vehicle valued at approx $100,000 are out of my financial reach. An agency in Texas is going to pay for all the modifications needed within my vehicle, but I have to come up with the $20,000 for the vehicle! If the monthly payments were lower (with a nice down payment I can achieve this) I could get by. I cannot do it alone, but with the help of all of you, I know it can be done!

I pray that none of you just see this as me 'begging' for money. I have always been so dependent on people that it is in my nature to HATE asking for help. But it takes a bigger person to know that they need help and ask for it! If I could just go out and get a job right now and get the money myself, I would. But it isn't that easy. My health wont allow me to continue going to school full time and work.
